Why silence?

You may be wondering, and it’s a reasonable question, why Silence?

It’s boring, empty, nothingness.

You may be saying right now:

“This is why I can’t meditate. It’s too boring, so I just start thinking.”

Well, yes. Exactly. That’s why meditation doesn’t work, for most people (though it can be amazing for some people, for sure).

What we’ll do in the 5 Seconds to Freedom ebook is open to your eyes to what Silence actually is.

Then, silence becomes Silence Infusion.

After reading the ebook, you’ll be able to see silence through different eyes.

Then, as you practice each day, it will become experiential for you – in other words, you’ll experience what we’re talking about and it will become real for you.

Through this process, another magic appears, another beautiful realisation, a gradual awareness happens. And that is:

You don’t have to listen to, or believe in your thoughts.

It’s hard to convince yourself of this, by any logical argument, by any thought process or by reading a thousand books on the topic.

Why is it good for people who can’t meditate?

Meditation is amazing, no question. For some people.

it’s been a big part of my journey, for sure. And it’s brought me a lot.

But for a long time, I felt like I was forcing myself to meditate. It was effective, in the end.

But I came to realise it’s far from the best way, and I also realised why it doesn’t work for most people.

It’s just too freakin’ hard, in modern society, to stop thinking.

And even less so, in the modern world of smartphones and the near-perpetual access to dopamine hits they make available.

Apart from that, many people who try to meditate for a long period, or even just 10 minutes, end up thinking.

And focusing on those thoughts, making the associated emotions even stronger and increasing your attachment to the them!

Which is the exact opposite intention of a meditation.

That’s not possible with the 5 Seconds to Freedom Method.

The other reason, this method is better than meditation?

The fact that frequency is more important than anything else when it comes to training your brain.

Even a “good” meditator ie. someone who can access peace/no-thought during their meditation may have a nice half hour in the morning and then be as much or almost as much lost in thought, and at the mercy of their emotions, as everyone else for the rest of the day.
